The Kentucky Small Business Development Center celebrates its 40th year of serving entrepreneurs and small businesses across the Commonwealth. Throughout these 40 years, we have committed ourselves to reaching small businesses across
all 120 counties in Kentucky.

The Kentucky SBDC has helped small business owners each of our 40 years, thanks to the support of our partners and staff. During the Kentucky SBDC’s 40th Anniversary Celebration, we are sharing quotes and stories of our clients, partners, and staff to illustrate why the Kentucky SBDC Network is passionate about serving the small businesses of our Commonwealth.

"As one of the UK College of Agriculture, Food and Environment’s state-mandated programs, the Kentucky Small Business Development Center is an extraordinary resource for Kentucky entrepreneurs. COVID-19 has been an exceedingly complex challenge for business owners and their employees, and the Kentucky SBDC’s state-wide network has been an important resource for successfully navigating the pandemic."
Nancy M Cox
Vice President for Land-Grant Engagement & Dean, College of Agriculture, Food and Environment at University of Kentucky
"This year, our business coaches have been overwhelmed helping business owners of all sizes overcome COVID-19 operating hurdles, but our business coaches will be just as important in good economic times to help our small businesses grow. The KSBDC has worked hard this year to expand our presence around the Commonwealth and attract incredibly talented coaches that can help Kentucky businesses overcome whatever challenge tomorrow brings."
