Kentucky SBDC in Ashland

Serving the Counties of: Boyd, Carter, Elliott, Greenup and Lawrence

The Kentucky SBDC in Ashland provides one-on-one coaching at no cost to existing small business owners and potential entrepreneurs in Northeast Kentucky. The center also meets the educational needs of the local small business community by offering a variety of low cost training programs taught by industry experts and qualified Kentucky SBDC Coaches.

Tony Pence

Tony Pence is a graduate of Morehead State University with a Bachelor of Arts in American Government. He has experience managing small businesses having owned a multi-line full service insurance agency for 17 years.

Pence served in the US Army National Guard and US Air Force for 7 years. He is involved with many local organizations and local radio host. Pence has been the director of Downtown Morehead, Inc. since May of 2013.

The Ashland center is hosted by Morehead State University.
