Kentucky SBDC at Northern Kentucky University

Serving the Counties of: Boone, Campbell, Gallatin, Grant, Kenton and Pendleton

The Kentucky SBDC at NKU provides one-on-one coaching at no cost to existing and potential entrepreneurs in the Northern Kentucky region and surrounding communities. The Kentucky SBDC at NKU also meets the educational needs of the local small business community by offering a variety of low cost training programs taught by industry experts and qualified SBDC Coaches.

Spanning a 20+ year career representing businesses of all sizes and in all stages, Catherine brings a wide variety of business experience to the KSBDC at NKU, from managing multimillion-dollar grants to serving as the president/CEO for several different chambers of commerce including a state chamber and state manufacturers association. Catherine has extensive experience in driving community and economic development initiatives and has executed a myriad of professional development workshops, trainings and seminars. “My most sincere hope is that I will be of value to small businesses, bringing with me innate innovativeness, a well-seasoned cadre of resources and a lifelong passion for entrepreneurialism and business success,” said Glover. Glover earned her M.A. in Civic Leadership from Lipscomb University and her B.A. from LaGrange College.

Nick brings over 12 years of workforce and economic development experience to the Kentucky SBDC. Previously, he was an Operations Manager at Amazon Air, overseeing complex logistics programs and continuous improvement initiatives. Nick also held positions in various consulting roles at The Kentucky Career Center, Northern Kentucky Tri-County Economic Development Corporation (NKY Tri-ED), and The Port. Additionally, a 20+ year career as an Army Officer in the Kentucky National Guard has provided Nick with a wide range of leadership skills, as well as a servant leadership mindset.Nick’s expertise includes continuous improvement, financial analysis, operations management, leadership development, Business planning, ERP/CRM set-up and implementation, and supply chain logistics.Away from the office, Nick enjoys spending time with his family, competing in distance running and CrossFit, and participating in outside recreational activities. He also enjoys listening to Podcasts, learning how to be more sustainable, and giving back to the community.
