Toni Sears is passionate about helping entrepreneurs build, grow and maintain profitable businesses. A fan of lifelong learning, Toni has an extensive background in business assessment, business plan development, financial modeling, loan packaging, strategic planning, and cash flow management. She has been with the Kentucky Small Business Development Center (KYSBDC) for over 15 years.

In 2020, Toni secured her certified global business professional (CGBP) certification through NASBITE. She later oversaw the formation of the KYSBDC International Trade Team (ITT) in 2021. Toni provides leadership to the ITT, which consists of KYSBDC business coaches who are equipped to assess export readiness, access foreign market information to assist entrepreneurs with foreign market selection, and assist entrepreneurs with developing an international trade business plan.

Toni has a B.A and a M.B.A from the University of Louisville. Active in her community, Toni uses her free time to support non-profits that seek to nurture our youth.
