The Kentucky Small Business Credit Initiative (KSBCI) came out of the JOBS Act of 2010 as a response to the recession. It is a tool for lenders to use on creditworthy loan requests that are just outside acceptable underwriting standards. With the KSBCI, the lender underwrites the loan and makes the credit decision. KSBCI supports up to 20% on Collateral Support projects.
An experienced lender can be a huge asset to business owners. They are familiar with navigating all the potential twists and turns involved in getting a business loan.
