For 40 years, SBDC has been able to help small business owners successfully navigate their businesses, especially today in the midst of the pandemic. SBDC started the Kentucky Pacesetter Award in 2008 to recognize businesses for their contribution to Kentucky’s economy and community.
The Kentucky Pacesetter Award is categorized into two: the Startup Pacesetters and the Traditional Business Pacesetters. They are recognized in four aspects of the business – their understanding of the market, innovativeness, strong leadership, and management.
