A sherpa’s job is to help someone achieve a goal or reach a summit. Sherpas layout a trail, carry some of the climber’s load, and celebrate with the climber once the goal is reached.
Bill presents the Audience Journey as an upside-down pyramid. The top of the pyramid is awareness, then it moves to consideration, then evaluation, and finally conversion. A digital sherpa should help lead buyers through this journey.
