Jeff discussed the Kentucky Work Opportunity Tax Credit (WOTC). Through this program, you can lower the amount of federal taxes you owe by hiring employees who consistently face significant barriers to employment. There’s another tax credit in the state and that’s called the Kentucky Unemployment Tax Credit (KUTC) where your business may qualify for a $100 income tax credit for each eligible hire.
